Overview
A Dark Horse Riding is a 3DCG visual novel for players who want a slow-burn family drama with a dark, secretive edge. The tone stays grounded and character-focused rather than comedic.
Story
A businessman and founding member of an outlaw motorcycle club has built a stable life, until his sister and niece arrive unannounced and upend his household. At the same time, a rival group of thugs starts pressing on his club's business interests, forcing him to look for help closer to home. He turns to his own daughter, weighing whether to train her and whether to finally reveal a hidden secret tied to magic that he has kept from everyone, even his closest friends.
Gameplay
Play follows a single male protagonist through branching story chapters told in rendered scenes and short animations. Choices shape how relationships develop within the household and how much of the protagonist's secret gets shared, leading toward multiple possible endings. Progress is driven by dialogue and decision points rather than open exploration or resource management.
Features
- Corruption-driven story beats woven into a family and biker-gang setting
- Multiple endings shaped by choices around trust and disclosure
- HD 3D renders paired with animated scenes for key moments
- School-setting subplot alongside the main household drama
Notes
The story leans heavily on incest and taboo household dynamics as its core theme, alongside exhibitionism and voyeurism elements; readers sensitive to those themes should be aware going in.
Installation
1. Extract and run.
