Overview
Back to the Roots is a 3D adult dating sim for players who like slower, character-driven harem stories over fast-paced action. The tone leans warm and personal rather than dramatic.
Story
After his company is hacked and his app stolen, the protagonist's life stalls out. Rather than fight to rebuild what he lost, he decides to return to Roots, the town where he grew up, hoping a fresh start somewhere familiar will help him find his footing again.
Gameplay
Played from a sandbox structure, the game has the protagonist settle back into Roots, meeting people from his past and present as he rebuilds his daily life. Progress follows light RPG mechanics tied to exploring locations and spending time with different characters, gradually opening up new scenes and interactions as relationships develop.
