Kaiju Princess

Kaiju Princess is a 2D adult visual novel for players who enjoy strange sci-fi premises paired with a slower, domestic pace. The tone stays light and comic even as the setup turns toward something much larger than an ordinary roommate arrangement.

Story

An ordinary office worker takes in a woman answering his homestay listing, only to learn she is the princess of an alien kaiju force scouting the planet for invasion. Expelling her only invites more invaders behind her, so the only way to protect the city is to help her stage attacks that meet the bare minimum destruction her superiors demand, while keeping human casualties low and staying off the radar of government investigators.

Gameplay

Play centers on balancing two threads at once: managing the practical side of housing and supporting the princess day to day, and handling the ongoing "invasion" business of directing kaiju activity to satisfy her requirements without drawing lethal attention or excessive damage. Choices affect how well the city is protected and how the cohabitation itself develops, with animated scenes marking the more personal moments between the two leads.
