Overview
Rain Check is a visual novel for players who want a slow-burn mystery with a gay furry romance woven through it. The tone leans tense and atmospheric rather than lighthearted.
Story
In a coastal city plagued by weather that refuses to make sense, Theodore falls in with a wolf and a mismatched group of investigators trying to explain what's happening. Together they dig into the city's strange phenomena, and into the darker things that seem to move just outside the light.
Gameplay
Play unfolds through dialogue and narrative choices as Theodore builds trust with the wolf and the rest of the investigating team. Decisions shape which relationships deepen and steer the direction the investigation takes, including branching points that affect who joins Theodore later in the story.
