Overview
Red Flags: Infidelity Island is a 3D visual novel for players who like drama-heavy college romance stories with a jealous edge. It plays out with a calm, character-focused tone despite the messy situations it sets up.
Story
John and Mia head into their second year of college with a summer trip to a remote island, only to find two other couples sharing the getaway. Hayley, John's childhood friend, arrives with Steven, who once dated Mia, while Emily, who has old history with John, comes along with Jake. With old feelings and new tensions packed onto one island, John and Mia have to figure out if their relationship can survive the company they're keeping.
Gameplay
Players guide John through conversations and choices as the group's vacation unfolds day by day, watching how decisions with Hayley, Emily, Steven, and Jake shift the mood between all three couples. Some stretches of the story are framed as structured decision sequences, walking players through a set of options during key social moments like a night out on a party ship. The focus stays on reading dialogue, picking responses, and seeing how trust or suspicion builds between John and Mia as a result.
Features
- Rendered 3D visuals with animated scenes throughout
- A cast built around three couples whose histories overlap in uncomfortable ways
- Structured choice sequences during major social events rather than open free-roam exploration

Changelog
v0.4
- Now, what's new in V0.4? We have a huge update, possibly the biggest one that I've done yet. It takes our protagonists and puts them on a party ship and we really see the tension between all three couples flare to conclude Day 4 of the game. What I feel that I've done very well in this update is that I treated the entire thing like a sort of minigame. I run you through a bunch of options and then depending on how those options go, you get one out of four different ways to end the update. How this update ends will affect future releases. I don't know if I'll keep making them like this, V0.5 will be more linear, but I thought it was a very neat idea. i think it encourages you guys to go and look for the other content.
- So overall, I made over 500 renders for this update and that number gets closer to a thousand when you factor in the three great animations for it.
v0.3
- For those of y'all wondering what's covered in this update, we have the end of Day 3 and half of Day 4. The rest of Day 4 will be the focus of V0.4 whose screenplay I am currently writing right now. There are hundreds of renders in this update, two animations which I think that you all will love.
- Overall, this update sets up an even bigger update and I'm glad that I was able to get both this and The Boston Breeder out in one month. As of now, it's only scheduled to be Infidelity Island next month but who knows how fast rendering will go. Either way, I'm sure you guys will love this update!
